My car's electrical gremlins are driving me crazy – need an expert in Abu Dhabi
I've been dealing with this weird issue on my 2019 BMW X5 for the past month where the dashboard lights flicker randomly, the central locking sometimes stops working, and the infotainment screen reboots itself every now and then. I took it to a local garage and they just said they couldn't find anything wrong and charged me for the diagnostic, which is incredibly frustrating because I know something is definitely not right. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of electrical fault, maybe a grounding issue or a failing control module, but I don't trust just any workshop to poke around the electronics on a modern German car because I've heard horror stories about people ending up with even more problems after someone messed with the wiring. A colleague who has a similar X5 mentioned that he had his car sorted by a place that specializes in electrical diagnostics and actually uses advanced scanning tools to pinpoint the exact fault rather than just guessing. I've been looking for an Advanced car electrical repair in Abu Dhabi because I want to find a workshop that has the proper equipment and trained technicians to handle complex BMW electronics, especially since the dealer would probably charge me a fortune for something that might be a simple fix if properly diagnosed. Has anyone here had similar electrical issues with their BMW or other German car and managed to get them resolved by a specialist in Abu Dhabi? I'd really appreciate any recommendations for a place that actually understands these systems and doesn't just clear the codes and send you on your way, because this issue is really starting to affect my confidence in the car and I need to get it sorted properly.

Flickering lights, random central locking and the screen rebooting together usually point to a voltage problem, not three separate faults. Get the battery tested under load and check that it's been registered to the car after any replacement. On these G05s a weak or badly coded battery causes exactly this kind of mess.
Had almost the same thing on my 2018 X5 and it turned out to be a corroded ground point near the battery tray. A good auto electrician found it in under an hour with a multimeter and a voltage drop test. The first garage had only plugged in a scanner, which is why they found nothing.
A garage charging you for a diagnostic and saying "nothing found" usually just means they read codes and stopped. Intermittent faults need live data logging while the problem is happening. Has anyone here actually used the Abu Dhabi workshop he linked, or is that just a page that came up in a search?
Ask whoever you pick to pull the stored fault codes from every module, not just the engine ECU, since low-voltage events leave traces in the body and head unit modules. Also check for water ingress around the rear tailgate and footwell areas, which can cause intermittent glitches. If the head unit keeps rebooting, a software update is worth asking about too.
Did you recently have any aftermarket accessories fitted, like a dash cam, tracker or amplifier? Those are the usual culprits for random electrical behavior on modern BMWs. And does the screen reboot more when the car's been sitting or when it's running?
