I don’t want to spend my Christmas holidays just sitting in front of the TV. I’m planning to visit a calm and peaceful country, Slovenia. I’ve read a bit online and some places really caught my eye, especially the medieval castles and fortresses, and I want to see them for myself. My flight is already sorted, but I’m wondering where I can rent a car there and if there are rental services at Ljubljana airport.

Slovenia is a very beautiful and green country. There are a lot of forests, especially in the mountainous areas, so it feels like greenery is everywhere. I visited a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. But what impressed me the most were the people; they are unusually friendly. As for cars, you can rent one at the airport, but it’s more expensive. It’s better to rent a car in Slovenia from a private provider, for example here: https://getrentacar.com/en-US/slovenia . They can deliver the rental car right to the airport parking lot when you arrive.
